Double-Sided Plow Dischargers are heavy-duty belt conveyor unloading devices designed to discharge bulk materials from either side of a conveyor belt at designated locations. Manufactured by Hebei Jingxian Huamei Mining Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., these plow dischargers provide a flexible solution for intermediate material distribution in mining, coal handling, aggregates, cement, metallurgy, power plants, ports, and other bulk material handling systems.
Installed above the conveyor belt, the plow assembly uses specially designed plow blades to guide conveyed materials toward the left or right side of the conveyor. By changing the working position of the plow, operators can select the required discharge direction while the conveyor continues to transport material.
Flexible Two-Sided Material Discharge
The main advantage of the double-sided design is its ability to discharge materials to both sides of the conveyor according to operating requirements. This makes it particularly suitable for conveying systems serving multiple storage areas, hoppers, transfer points, or processing lines.
When the plow is engaged, the blades guide bulk material toward the selected side. When discharge is not required, the plow can be raised or moved away from the belt, allowing material to continue along the normal conveying route.
This flexible configuration can help reduce the need for additional conveyor lines and provide more efficient material distribution along a single conveyor.
Reliable Plow Structure
Huamei Double-Sided Plow Dischargers are manufactured using high-strength structural steel and wear-resistant components. The plow blades are designed to withstand continuous contact with transported materials and the mechanical forces generated during operation.
For applications involving highly abrasive materials, suitable wear-resistant plates or replaceable wear components can be incorporated into the plow assembly. The reinforced frame provides stable support and reliable operation under heavy-duty conditions.
Effective Belt Protection
The plow blades are designed and adjusted to maintain suitable contact with the conveyor belt. Proper adjustment helps achieve effective material discharge while minimizing unnecessary belt wear.
Depending on the equipment configuration, the plow can be equipped with a lifting, mechanical, electric, or electro-hydraulic operating mechanism, allowing controlled engagement and disengagement. Raising the plow when unloading is not required helps protect the belt and reduces unnecessary friction.
