Conveyor Impact Bed 2 is a heavy-duty belt support and impact protection system designed for conveyor loading and transfer points where bulk materials are discharged onto a moving belt. Manufactured by Hebei Jingxian Huamei Mining Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., this impact bed provides continuous support beneath the belt while absorbing impact forces and helping reduce belt deformation and wear.
Compared with conventional impact roller assemblies, Conveyor Impact Bed 2 provides a continuous supporting surface, reducing unsupported gaps beneath the belt. It is suitable for demanding material handling applications involving coal, ore, rock, limestone, gravel, aggregates, and other bulk materials.
Enhanced Impact Absorption
At transfer points, materials may fall from hoppers, chutes, feeders, or upstream conveyors, generating significant impact forces. Repeated impact can lead to belt deformation, excessive vibration, belt-edge damage, and premature wear.
Conveyor Impact Bed 2 uses resilient cushioning components and reinforced impact bars to absorb and distribute impact energy. By spreading the load across a wider support area, it helps reduce concentrated impact forces and protect the conveyor belt and supporting structure.
Continuous Belt Support
The impact bed maintains continuous contact and support across the loading zone, helping reduce belt sag between conventional idlers. This is particularly beneficial when handling heavy or large-sized materials.
A stable belt profile can also improve material containment at transfer points, reducing the possibility of material escaping from the sides or becoming trapped underneath the conveyor belt.
Low-Friction Support Bars
The upper support bars are manufactured from wear-resistant, low-friction materials designed for continuous sliding contact with the conveyor belt. This allows the belt to move smoothly while receiving stable support and impact protection.
The replaceable support bar design makes it easier to perform routine inspection, wear-part replacement, and maintenance, helping minimize conveyor downtime and improve equipment availability.
